The Dicey Miller Memorial Award
Dicey Miller was considered the "Mother of AYA". In 2008, to honor her tremendous contributions in the origins and formation of the Association, The AYA Board created a Lifetime Achievement Award. This article by Dicey tells about her history and the early days of the AYA.

Ken Blackman (2008)
Ken was the first recipient of the Dicey Miller Memorial Award. Involved with AYA in its formative stages, he received this recognition for his years of dedication and service to our organization and aircraft.
Liz Lane (2009)
Liz was awarded the Dicey Miller Award for her years promoting the AYA in Canada.
David Fletcher (2011)
David was awarded the Dicey Miller Award for his years of promoting and supporting Grummans.
Andre' Everaert (2012)
Andre received the Dicey Miller Award for his years promoting the AYA in Europe.
Dick Martin (2015)
Dick received the Dicey Miller Award for his energetic sponsorship of fly-ins and his on-going attendance of Annual Conventions.
John Sjaardema (2020)
John has given Exceptional Life Time Service to the Grumman Community and joined in 1989. A strong supporter of the GOPA/AYA for the past 31 years, he has presented maintenance seminars and hands on demonstrations of the Grumman Aircraft at Oshkosh and at the AYA/GOPA Conventions.
