A couple of years ago we held a fly-in to visit this museum but because the weather didn't cooperate, we only had a handful of folks able to attend. The museum turned out to be so fantastic that I decided we needed to give it another go so more people will be able to enjoy it. This place is chock full of literally dozens of museum quality airplanes from the turn of the century up though the '60's and most remarkable of all, they're all airworthy! This is truly one of the best kept secrets in aviation so please join us and bring your friends, family or neighbors. You won't be disappointed!
The museum, https://midamericaflightmuseum.com/ is open only on Saturday's from 8am to noon so let's plan to be on the ground by 10am and afterwards we'll round up the crew cars for a trip into town for some Outlaw's BBQ.
